Am citit şi sunt nedumerit aici:
5) Empty the phpBB/cache/ folder : just delete all files EXCEPTS the .htaccess.
Şterg tot ce este în folderul cache de la Seo Mod sau de la folderul cache de la forum ?
Şi la:
Generate your personalized .htaccess and upload or move it following the instructions;
Nu înţeleg.

E foarte clar: directorul cache de la de la forum.

A personalised .htaccess will be generated. It's the first one to consider trying.
You will have too put it where the red bolded messages of the .htaccess generator tells you to.
If you cannot find the location mentioned, it means that you did not properly set your phpBB server settings in the ACP.
If the default suggestion does not work, you will be to try more options, and generate several alternative.
You'll find an empty .htaccess file in this mod's archive contrib/ folder, you can use it to paste the .htaccess content generated on the htaccess page or save it directly on the server (saved .htaccess will be found in the phpbb/cache/ directory).
The .htaccess generator will add the required rewriterules to make your domain canonical, but they will be
left commented (un-active) at first, as this is the kind of thing that require human attention.

Problema este ca nu inteleg tot de acolo, nu stiu cum sa generez acel .htacces. Daca se poate cineva sa faca un fel de tutorial i-as ramane dator ...

Imi pare rau dar nu am instalat nici o data acest, Si n am de gand sa fac asta. Nu stiu sigur cum functioneaza.
Citeste instructiunile din nou, si incearca sa le intelegi.

În P.A. în tabul PHPBB SEO ai în dreapta la meniu, .htaccess.
Intră acolo şi copiază codul colorat ce ţi-l dă mai jos, apoi pune-l prin FTP în fişierul .htaccess pe care îl găseşti în directorul unde ai fişierele forumului (acolo unde găseşti şi config.php).
Dă refersh la browser sau curăţă cacheul forumului şi gata.
După aceea vei întâmpina alte probleme:
1. Imaginile pentru ranguri nu vor mai apărea
2. Nu vei putea accesa P.A. decât de pe pagina principală a forumului.
Ca să rezolvi problemele astea trebuie să modifici fişierele stilului tău în loc de cele pentru prosilver sau subsilver2 (în funcţie de stilul pe care se bazează tema ta).

Nu merge. Am facut cum ai spus tu, am intrat in ACP, am dat la PHPBB SEO, in dreapta am selectat .htacces, am dat pe "Sellect all" -> "Copy" am intrat in .htacces-ul din folderul forumului, am sters tot ce era in el, am dat PASTE, l-am salvat, am sters si cache si degeaba.

Pune-l la loc !
Trebuia sa il pui in :
exemplu.ro/.htaccess
Nu : exemplu.ro/forum/.htaccess
Dar, daca nu ai prima pagina si nu folosesti nimic acolo, il poti pune unde l ai pus, dupa codul existent acolo.
Nu trebuie sa stergi nimic. Codul pe care l ai sters era pentru a proteja fisierele forumului. config.php etc

www.adresamea.ro/.htacess, imi da eroarea asta:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /.htacces on this server.

La fel face si cand intru pe
www.adresamea.ro/forum/.htacess.
MENTIONEZ CA FORUMUL ESTE INTR-UN ALT DIRECTOR [ "forum" ].
Va rog explicati-mi mai pe intelesul meu, cum si ce. [ mai explicit ]

Ti am scris acele adrese in felul ala pentru a stii unde sa creezi fisierul .htaccess. NU Ca sa il deschizi !
Acel fisier lucreaza pe server pentru a serveri funtiile tale.....
De ce nu ne dai o adresa catre forum?
