Probleme cu Attach MOD

Am reusit sa-l instalez pana la urma dar cand ii dau test in Panoul de Control apare urmatoarea:
Directory 'files' is not writeable. You'll have to create the upload path and chmod it to 777 (or change the owner to you httpd-servers owner) to upload files.
If you have only plain ftp-access change the 'Attribute' of the directory to rwxrwxrwx.

Ma jos, in acelasi meniu apare:

You are not able to use the FTP Upload Methods, because FTP Extensions are not compiled into your PHP Installation.

Serverul unde e forumul e lx.ro Ce pot sa fac ca sa rezolv problema ???
